Uttarakhand Char Dham 2023: corona case surge before kedarnath dham opening 25 april rudraprayag covid protocol
As soon as the Uttarakhand Char Dham Yatra starts in 2023, pilgrims from India and abroad are reaching Uttarakhand for darshan. Pilgrims from many states of the country including
Delhi-NCR, UP, Rajasthan have got registered to visit the Dhams. But, it is a matter of concern that corona cases are increasing in Uttarakhand. The doors of Kedarnath Dham located
in Rudraprayag district are going to open on 25th April. But, just a day before the opening of the portals of Dham, suddenly 20 corona cases have come to light in Rudraprayag
district. It may be noted that the doors of Gangotri-Yamunotri shrines located in Uttarkashi district were opened for darshan on 22 April. The doors of Badrinath Dham located in
Chamoli district will be opened on 27 April. The Health Department has also come on alert mode after the Corona cases surfaced across the state including Rudraprayag district. An

According to the Health Bulletin of the Health Department, 110 corona cases have been reported in Uttarakhand on 24
April. Whereas, exactly one day ago i.e. on 23 April, only 36 corona cases were reported across the state. Corona positives were found in eight districts including Dehradun,
Haridwar, Nainital. Not a single case was found in 5 districts including Rudraprayag. It is a matter of relief that after treatment, 113 corona infected have been discharged. After
this, now the number of active corona patients in Uttarakhand has reduced to 311. According to the health bulletin, corona cases have been found across the state except Uttarkashi
